The Bloomsbury Institute has a large number of students who are entering education after significant time away from learning environments. Whilst this can cause some to feel focused and motivated, others feel insecure about their learning abilities.
Drawing on the Institute’s experience with students unable to feel at ease in educational settings, the Bloomsbury Institute lead this panel discussion to look at the underlying causes of learning insecurities among students, how these can be recognised early, and the innovative methods the Institute has adopted to support its learners.

Rebecca is responsible for ensuring that all students are supported with anything wellbeing or disability related. Her team at the Bloomsbury Institute provides one-to-one sessions and wellbeing workshops for students.
An eclectic career has seen Rebecca prop making, teaching at secondary schools and making cocktails. She is an SpLD assessor and specialist tutor with over ten years of experience in adult education and five years within university Disability and Mental Health teams.
