Destination Marketing
The Knowledge Quarter has a growing cultural and educational offer which includes 10 higher education institutions, 21 cultural institutions, 22 museums and galleries and 35 libraries and archives. From some of the oldest and most well-known institutions in the world including the British Museum and Sadler’s Wells to new innovative institutions such as the House of Illustration and Lethaby Gallery.
The Knowledge Quarter is embarking on a three month research project to try and understand the potential to collectively destination market the Knowledge Quarter area. The end goal of the project will be to develop ways to increase the number of visitors to KQ institutions and users of KQ products and services.
The project will be led by Poonam Satiya, a Masters student in Marketing and Strategy at Warwick Business School. Poonam has extensive marketing experience working as a marketing executive, an account manager and sourcing and brand manager in India for a number of companies including Conde Nast and Lindt Chocolates.
