April 2025 Newsletter
Private tour of Islamic gardens, SOAS Gallery, Food Season, & more
April in the Knowledge Quarter is serving up a full menu of activity, with plenty of delicious ideas to chew on.
The British Library returns with its annual Food Season, Mills Fabrica ponders what we might be eating in 2050, and Somers Town Community Centre (STCA) is dishing out free composting and gardening lessons from its rooftop garden.
As spring begins and blossoms bloom, so are new exhibitions across the KQ: the London Canal Museum opens its latest exhibition telling the story of how the canals were built with a royal visit from HRH Princess Anne, The Postal Museum prepares to launch Voices of Resistance: Slavery and Post in the Caribbean, and the Charles Dickens Museum celebrates its 100-year anniversary with The Queen.
Our next morning private view will be at SOAS University of London’s Gallery in the heart of Bloomsbury, celebrating young South Asian artists in another fresh exhibition opening this month.
