The Knowledge Quarter is embarking on a three month research project to try and understand the potential to collectively destination market the Knowledge Quarter area. The end goal of the project will be to develop ways to increase the number of visitors to KQ institutions and users of KQ products and services.

Knowledge Quarter Community Champions Launch

Yesterday Knowledge Quarter Partners and Local Community Organisations/ Charities came together to launch Community Champions - a project developed by the Knowledge Quarter's Community Engagement subgroup. Attendee's listened to case studies of well established Community Champions as well as discussing more ways that our partner organisations can work with the community, based on what is needed most.

KQ Partners Meet with Tim Moss

A continued focus on the reasoning behind Intellectual Property (IP) law and the cultivation of innovation and creativity were key themes from the latest Knowledge Quarter breakfast. Knowledge Quarter partners met with Tim Moss, the Chief Executive Officer and Comptroller General of the UK’s Intellectual Property Office; a discussion facilitated by Margaret Briffa, a leading IP Solicitor and founder of Briffa.

KQ Instagram #TakeOverWeek

The Knowledge Quarter (KQ) Instagram #TakeOverWeek has proved hugely popular with Knowledge Quarter partners since launching last November. The #TakeOverWeek allows KQ partners the opportunity to share content with new audiences and is a great way for partners to collaborate and cross promote content on the KQ Instagram account. So far 10 KQ partners have taken part, giving us a snapshot of what's happening in their organisation with 152 photos already posted!

The Knowledge Quarter welcomes a further two organisations as partners, bringing together over 85 cultural, research, scientific, business and academic institutions both large and small under one umbrella. The Knowledge Quarter is delighted to welcome Jewish Museum London and Global Generation.

Kacie Shoulders appointed Knowledge Quarter Operations and Marketing Intern

The Knowledge Quarter is pleased to announce the appointment of Kacie Shoulders as the Knowledge Quarter Operations and Marketing Intern. Kacie joins the Knowledge Quarter from The Royal Veterinary College where she is in her second year studying Biological Sciences. She will be with the knowledge quarter for the next six months, two days a week, alongside her studies.

KQ partners meet with the Rt Hon Matt Hancock MP

Knowledge Quarter Partners had the opportunity to meet with The Rt Hon Matt Hancock MP, the Secretary of State for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport and discuss the future possibilities for the Knowledge Quarter on its current trajectory and how this can benefit companies large and small nationwide in a post-Brexit Britain.
