House of Illustration is looking for a new Head of Learning and Participation, to develop and deliver learning programmes and partnerships, manage a small staff team and pool of freelancers and contribute to the development and design of their new learning studios and offers.

The ideal candidate will have experience of leading effective and impactful learning and participation programmes using the arts as well as an appreciation of illustration, its breadth and its role within society and strong understanding of cultural education, including schools and/or community work and policy.

The new Head of Learning and Participation will bring imagination and practical experience, not only to the development of the House of Illustration’s programmes, but to the design of a new education studio, galleries and public gardens within amazing heritage buildings.
