The Institute of Physics (IOP) is looking for a Policy Officer to join IOP Policy Team on a fixed term basis for 1 Year. The post holder will support the development and dissemination of IOP policy, undertaking research, writing briefings and consultation responses, and assisting senior colleagues in high profile IOP projects and reports.

The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical and communication skills, as well as experience of establishing and maintaining networks of policy contacts and external stakeholders.

The role will include working on some projects to help transform physics in the UK: increasing diversity in education and the workplace, ensuring children have access to world-class physics education, and fostering investment in technical skills and STEM.
