Understanding the Economic Impact of the Knowledge Quarter / PhD Placement
The Knowledge Quarter PhD placement provides opportunities for PhD students to develop and apply transferable research skills outside of the university sector. This position would be ideal for someone looking to gain experience and pursue a career in a think tank, public affairs or third sector policy-making and research.

Alice in Wonderland Exhibition
To celebrate 150 years since the publication of Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland, the British Library is launching a free exhibition which explores how Alice has captured our imaginations for so many years.
The British Library team has also created a fantastic pop-up shop. A whimsical space piled high with wondrous gifts inspired by the earliest drawings of Alice and her friends.
Being Human Festival Review
This year's Being Human festival, a national showcase of the very best in UK humanities research, surpassed all expectations with in excess of 17,000 people attending more than 300 events in some 30 towns and cities, according to figures released today. It shows just how vibrant and creative humanities research is these days.
‘Modelling the Knowledge Business’ workshop

Daniel Stevens appointed as the Knowledge Quarter Advocacy and Communications Manager
The KQ is pleased to announce the appointment of Daniel Stevens as the KQ’s Advocacy and Communications Manager. Daniel joins from the British Council and will be providing on-going strategic advice and support on matters of advocacy and communications.
