November 2024 Newsletter
Named “the best hope for the British economy”by The Economist.
Two weeks ago, The Economist lauded King’s Cross, an integral part of the Knowledge Quarter as “the best hope for the British economy”—and it’s clear why.
The very next week, we hosted a KQ Roundtable (pictured above) with Howard Dawber, London’s Deputy Mayor for Business and Growth and our CEO, Jodie Eastwood, where we discussed and provided feedback on the upcoming London Growth Plan. The diverse range of Knowledge Quarter partners in attendance—including The British Museum, British Library, UCL, LabTech, Google, Camden and Islington Councils, and more—were acknowledged as core contributors to the future prosperity of London.
As the days grow shorter, we’re delighted to deliver some illuminating events in November, including a morning private view of the British Library’s Silk Roads exhibition and the final Turing Lecture of the year with an AI ethicist.
Our partners at the Somers Town Community Association (STCA), the Francis Crick Institute, the Cockpit Arts, and more are also hosting some incredible events, while Camden Council, UCL, and Impact Hub London are offering inspiring entrepreneurial opportunities (and the chance to win some cash).
Please bear with us as our website is not as up-to-date as we’d like. We’re planning a redesign in the near future. In the meantime, stay in the know by signing up for our newsletter and following us on LinkedIn and Instagram.
