The Knowledge Quarter Community Engagement subgroup presents: The Sharing and Showcasing Event

Venue: Reading Room at the Wellcome Collection

In partnership with the Wellcome Trust, the Knowledge Quarter Community Engagement Sub Group will be holding a Sharing and Showcasing Event through which Knowledge Quarter Partners engaged in activity with communities have the opportunity to present community engagement projects, meet and mix with other partners and share learning and best practice.

The Knowledge Quarter Community Engagement Sub Group ensures that the activity of the Knowledge Quarter responds, and is sensitive to the needs of local communities in its area. In addition, it provides opportunities to those living and working in these communities to participate with the buildings, resources and projects of Knowledge Quarter Partners.

The event is planned to take place on Monday 14 March 2016 in the Reading Room at Wellcome Collection, from 17.00 – 19.00 with the following format:

  • Short welcoming talks from the Knowledge Quarter and the Wellcome Trust
  • Facilitated networking
  • 5 – 7 project showcase demonstrations
  • Final words and refreshments
